Privacy Policy

Every tool on this site runs entirely inside your web browser using the HTML Canvas API and, for a few formats, small open-source JavaScript libraries. When you select a photo, it is read into your browser's memory, processed there, and handed back to you as a download.

No network request carrying your image is ever made. You can verify this yourself: open your browser's developer tools, switch to the Network tab, and process a photo. You will see no upload. This is not a promise about how we handle your data — it is a description of how the site is built. There is no image storage anywhere in the system.

If you close the tab, the image is gone from memory. Nothing persists.

Resizehive sets no cookies. There is no analytics script, no tag manager, no session recording, no heatmap tool, no advertising pixel and no third-party embed that tracks you. We do not build a profile of you because we collect nothing to build one from.

Because no cookies are set and no personal data is processed for tracking, there is no consent banner. There is nothing to consent to.

Complete honesty matters more here than a clean claim. Resizehive is hosted on Vercel. Like every web host on the internet, Vercel receives the technical information required to deliver a web page to you: your IP address, the page requested, your browser type and the time of the request. This is standard server logging and applies to any website you visit anywhere.

We do not access, analyse or retain these logs for any purpose. They are not linked to any identity, and no image data is present in them, because images are never transmitted. Vercel's own handling of this data is governed by their privacy policy.

Our domain is registered through GoDaddy, which provides DNS resolution. Contact email sent to us is received through Gmail and governed by Google's privacy policy.

Under the GDPR, the UK GDPR and comparable laws, you have rights to access, correct, delete and port your personal data, and to object to its processing. In our case these rights are largely moot: we hold no personal data about you and no images. There is nothing in our possession to access, export or erase.

If you believe we hold data about you, or you have any question about this policy, write to us and we will answer.

If Resizehive ever adds a feature that changes any of the above — user accounts, a server-side tool, advertising or analytics — this policy will be updated before that feature goes live, the date at the top will change, and the specific tool or feature affected will be named rather than covered by a vague general clause.

The commitment we intend to keep permanently is this one: your image pixel data will never be sent to a server. Any future feature will be built around that constraint rather than at its expense.
